PEEK are 3-time Finalists this Awards Season (so far!)

Team PEEK are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for a few awards over the past month or so. First up, PEEK has been shortlisted as a finalist in TWO categories at this year’s Children & Young People Now Awards:

🏆 The Play Award - recognising our PEEK Play Programme
🏆 The Violence Prevention Award - recognising Your Choice, our partnership programme with Govan High School and Police Scotland

To be recognised nationally alongside so many incredible organisations doing brilliant work with and for children and young people is a huge honour here at PEEK. Next up, we are extremely proud to have been shortlisted for local awards, The Herald and Glasgow Chamber of Commerce Inspiring City Awards:

🏆 Youth Empowerment - celebrating the contribution our young people are making across the city, after taking part in our Thrive projects (Your Choice and Young Volunteers)

Our Play programme is about creating opportunities for children to play, have fun, build confidence and simply be children, regardless of their circumstances. Your Choice is a brilliant example of what can happen when organisations come together around young people. Working in partnership with Govan High School and Police Scotland, the programme supports young people to explore choices, build confidence, strengthen relationships and develop positive pathways away from violence and harm. Lastly, Young Volunteers gives our young people the opportunity to gain qualifications, gain work experience and develop personally, socially and professionally in a safe environment - whilst hopefully inspiring a career, and helping young people onto their next step in life.

All nominations are a reflection of the incredible people behind the work - volunteers, partners, schools, families and, most importantly, the children and young people themselves.
