This year’s event is extra special as we celebrate the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. Join us for an afternoon of free fun, play, and food for the whole family.
PEEK PLAY Day is completely free to attend and provides a welcoming space for families to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories together, because every child deserves the freedom to play.
For parents and carers - please be aware that the venue is a public space, and that children should be supervised at all times.
No dogs are allowed at the venue, except for assistance dogs.
If you have any further questions about the event, please get in touch on 0141 554 3068 or info@peek.scot. See you there!

We are expecting the event to be busy, so you may need to wait a little while in the food queue. If you can, keep an eye on the queues and join when it is quieter. There will be drinks and snacks available whilst you wait and plenty of space to eat even if you’ll be bringing your own snacks
Dogs are not permitted at the venue (apart from assistance dogs)
🚻 Facilities and spaces:
Toilets can be found inside the sports complex and portaloos by the track (accessible toilets and baby changing facilities available)
Quiet space and baby feeding: within the track
First Aid and lost children: within the track
🚶 Getting to the track:
Go around the building and through the wheelchair-accessible tunnel or use the stairs near the DJ booth and registration desk.
💬 FAQs:
Can people register on the day?
Yes! Walk-ups are welcome. But we recommend registering in advance to avoid long waits in the queues.
Can I get more than one meal?
No, each person gets one free meal with their token.
Do I have to pay for anything?
No, the entire event is completely free!
Is face painting available for kids?
Yes, but only for children aged 3 and up.
What if my child gets lost?
Tell a team member in a high-vis vest immediately. The missing child point is located at the first aid tent. We recommend agreeing on a meeting spot with your child ahead of time. We also encourage you to write your number on a red wristband (available at the registration desk) to be worn by your child.
Who’s running the event?
Our amazing PEEK team, along with over 200 volunteers, including young people and corporate partners, will be running activities and helping throughout the day.
Do you have water?
We will have bottles of water beside the food stations; however, we encourage you to bring your own bottle. There will be water filling stations.
We’re so excited to see you there. It’s going to be a fantastic day!
