Chief Executive Officer

Michaela has been part of PEEK for over 22 years, starting as a participant before becoming a volunteer, team member, and now CEO. Her journey has taken her across the UK and beyond, working with organisations like UnLtd, the British Council, Sport Relief, and Spirit of 2012. She even played a key role in raising over £6 million for UNICEF UK as a Flying Scot Ambassador during the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

From Camp America to KaBOOM, Michaela’s work has taken her around the world, but her heart is always in Glasgow. In 2022, she was awarded an MBE in The Queen’s New Year Honours for her incredible work supporting the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
