ANTENATAL

Expecting a baby is an exciting but sometimes anxious time, so it is our aim at PEEK to provide you with support when you need it! Our antenatal courses are for both the pregnant person and their birth partner. We use the most current evidence-based information and research to practically prepare you for birth and caring for a baby, while having honest and practical conversations to make sure you are best prepared for becoming parents.

We spend half of the course preparing for birth looking at all the forms that might take and understanding your options and rights for when things don't go to plan! The second half of the course focuses on practically taking care of your baby and what to expect in the early days, exploring normal infant behaviours and how to monitor and support their development.

Gain the knowledge you need to make informed decisions for the birth of your baby and learn what you can do to make your birth a positive experience and to ensure your partner is involved and informed.

At PEEK we are able to support families throughout pregnancy and into parenthood. We create a support network through your pregnancy continuing into the early days with your new baby with baby groups, play cafes, baby massage classes, all where maternal mental health support, infant feeding support and postnatal provision is available.
